ITS MAKER Academy and the Coronavirus emergency<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]The COVID-19 pandemic has severely tested Italian and global society and has significantly limited school and training activities.<\/strong> Like everyone else, ITS MAKER Academy could not be exempt from this impact.<\/p>\n

However, we have done everything possible to ensure educational continuity for our students and to maintain the training relationship with companies<\/strong>, even when many of them were working remotely or using furlough schemes.<\/p>\n

We all hope that the coming school years will be free from the constraints experienced in 2020 and 2021. Especially in a training programme that is strongly based on hands-on and lab activities, the impact of COVID-19 has been particularly challenging, both for students and for the organisation.<\/p>\n

  • Developing methods for remote connection to virtual machines, in order to allow access to lab software from home<\/li>\n
  • Investing in professional digital collaborative platforms, so that our students can further develop digital teamwork skills, which are increasingly in demand in the labour market<\/li>\n
  • Setting up an internal working group that, through dialogue with teachers and students, supports the ongoing improvement of distance learning<\/li>\n
  • Supporting participants in difficulty by providing IT equipment to follow lessons remotely<\/li>\n
  • Carrying out the allowed laboratory activities in person in complete safety, with the definition of all safety protocols<\/li>\n
