Have you ever wondered how food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or ceramics are packaged?
Behind every packaging line there is an intelligent machine, designed and programmed by people with mechanical, electrical and digital skills.
With this ITS MAKER Academy course you will become an Advanced Technician for Automation and Packaging, learning how to design, assemble and program automatic machines used to package products quickly, accurately and safely.
All of this in the heart of the Bologna technology district, one of the most advanced in Europe.

Professional profile
The Advanced Technician for Automation and Packaging combines skills in the mechanical, electrical and software components of industrial automation systems. They can work in design, programming, assembly and control of automated packaging lines.
Thanks to versatile theoretical and practical training, they are able to integrate different technologies and work on the design of mechanical parts, electrical control panels and industrial machine control software, as well as on assembly, electrical wiring, testing and quality control.
