Dreaming of working with motorbikes, in racing or electric mobility?

With the post-diploma technical course for Higher Technician in Combustion and Electric Motorcycles and Motorsport, you can turn that dream into reality, studying directly at the Misano World Circuit, just a few metres from the team pit boxes. From the track to the workshops, from racing to customization, this course turns your passion into a real career.

And starting this year, there are even more places available: two classes to train the future professionals of this exciting sector.

Professional profile

The Higher Technician in Combustion and Electric Motorcycles and Motorsport can work in production departments, technical offices and R&D units in companies that manufacture motorcycles or components, as a service and customization technician, as a technician in racing teams, and as a paddock or circuit official.
Thanks to a broad and versatile skill set, they can work on traditional, hybrid and electric motorbikes in manufacturing companies, racing departments, customer service, customization workshops, dealer networks and trackside support.

Sectors of employment:

  • Companies producing traditional or electric motorcycles and related components (engines, brakes, chassis, etc.)
  • Racing teams and motorsport squads, as support and development technicians
  • Circuits, as paddock or event technicians and officials
  • After-sales networks and workshops for motorcycle customization and personalization

Career opportunities

The Higher Technician in Combustion and Electric Motorcycles and Motorsport works in technical activities related to assembly, service, R&D, racing operations and customer support, as well as in customization projects.

Throughout the course, specific modules focus on transversal skills such as teamwork, organizational communication in companies and basic leadership. These skills are essential to effectively apply technical knowledge in real working environments.

The course alternates classroom theory with in-company training through labs, project work, business simulations, meetings with entrepreneurs and company visits.

Alignment courses

The course includes initial alignment modules in Mechanics, Electrotechnics/Electronics and English, designed to take into account the entry level of all admitted participants.

More than 40% of the total hours of post-diploma courses is dedicated to educational internships carried out in leading companies in the mechanical, mechatronics, motor and automation sectors in Emilia-Romagna.
