When do applications open?
Applications open every year between May and June.
You can apply online directly from the ITS MAKER Academy website as soon as the official call for applications is published.
What do I need to apply?
To complete your application, you will need to upload:
- Identity document
- Tax code
- Updated CV
- Educational qualification (high school diploma or equivalent certificate)
Who can apply?
All high school graduates (technical institutes, vocational schools, grammar schools / licei) can apply.
You are not required to already have specific technical skills, the course will train you from the basics.
How does the selection process work?
Admission is based on aptitude tests for access to the courses, which include:
- Written test with logical-mathematical, technical and general knowledge questions
- Individual motivational interview
How many places are available on each course?
Courses have a limited number of places and each campus has a defined intake capacity.
If there are many applications, a ranked list will be drawn up based on merit.
Can I choose the campus?
Yes, during the application you can indicate your preferred campus among those available for each course.
In some cases the same course is offered on more than one campus.
Can I apply for more than one course?
Yes, you can apply for more than one course, but you will have to take a separate selection test for each of them.
Do I have to pay any fees?
No, applying for the admission test is free of charge.
ITS MAKER Academy courses are fully funded, and you only pay an admission fee (200€) and the fee for the final exam (50€).
Will I obtain a qualification?
Yes, at the end of the two-year programme you will obtain the Advanced Technician diploma (Tecnico Superiore) issued by the Ministry of Education, valid throughout the European Union.
Are there Open Days to learn more about the courses?
Yes. ITS MAKER Academy organises online and in-person Open Days to present the training offer and the different campuses.
